⁴⁹ All his friends, including the women who had followed him from Galilee, stood at a distance and watched everything.

⁵⁰ There was a good man who had God’s approval. His name was Joseph. He was a member of the Jewish council, ⁵¹ but he had not agreed with what they had done. He was from the Jewish city of Arimathea, and he was waiting for God’s kingdom.
